G & L Receives 3 Key Industry Awards, Including Prestigious 2006 Governers Safety Award

George & Lynch, Inc. has received the prestigious 2006 Governors Safety Award, presented by the State of Delaware, Department of Labor and the Delaware Contractors Association (DCA).  The Company was recognized at the DCA Annual Dinner held at the Chase Riverfront Center in Wilmington, Delaware, on October 25, 2006.

George & Lynch was also selected as a recipient of the 2006 Construction Excellence Award for their work completing the “City of Newark, Delaware Water Supply Reservoir”.

This award is presented annually by the State of Delaware, Department of Administrative Services and the Delaware Contractors Association in recognition of those projects which bring distinction, skill, and integrity to the construction industry.

The Company was further honored by the Associated Builders and Contractors, Delaware Chapter, with the 2006 EXCELLENCE WINNER for the Newark Reservoir in the Site/Civil Category, at its Annual Dinner held on November 16, 2006 at the Chase Riverfront Center.

The reservoir is owned by the City of Newark, Delaware and was designed by URS Corporation, Wilmington, Delaware.
