Primary FunctionsMr. Baker directs the successful execution of all fieldwork by coordinating the efforts of job superintendents and project managers. He is responsible for labor and equipment resource allocation and scheduling for the entire company. He is involved in estimates for major projects and assists in preparation of design-build proposals.
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware, 1989. Licensed in 1994 as a Professional Engineer in the State of Delaware. Training includes project management and estimating software including Expedition, Primavera, HCSS and MC2 plus various management programs.
Professional Experience
Experienced in the Delmarva construction market since 1987. Served as field laborer, estimating assistant, project manager and senior estimator. Responsible for over $300 million of work put in place. Project types include site grading, site utilities, highways, pavement milling, bridges, concrete structures, water and wastewater treatment facilities, correctional facilities, pile foundations, marinas and trench less technologies.
