Leonard Brooks | Vice President, Administration and Safety Director

Primary Function
As Director of Field Safety, Mr. Brooks is responsible for developing and implementing the George & Lynch Safety Program, including training and management of compliance issues.  His objectives include continuance of a program that has won the company one of the lowest Experience Modification Rates in the nation in the heavy contracting class.  Our EMR for the past several years G&L has averaged under 0.50.  Mr. Brooks is also the Corporate Secretary.



Education
Mr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural engineering Technology from the University of Delaware in 1988.  He is a graduate of the safety managers program at Clemson University.  He has continued with his education, including study for his Engineer in Training Certificate.  He holds the following certificates;
Hazardous materials Technician, CPR Instructor, Well Driller and a Class E Septic System Installer.  OSHA 500 Train the Trainer.

Professional Experience
Mr. Brooks joined George & Lynch in 1988.  He has served as Project Manager, head of the employee safety committee and manager of environmental projects for the company.  He is proficient in information technology including Lotus 1-2-3, Primavera Project management and scheduling, Quest estimating and Expedition.
